Joints of The Week: 1

First off I've been trying to do this post again for a minute. Pretty much every week I'll pick my favorite joints of the week. This joint is off the upcoming Rick Ross album. This song in my opinion is one of the best of the year. Jay's verse shows that dude still hasn't fell off.

Levi got a new track and its called "Saving The World". Its his best work yet I think. Reasons why I would say the beat links with the track well and his rhymes are just getting better and better. When you hear this track you will know what im talking about. Be on the look out for the talented Levi. Peace

J Cole Freestyle, News & Performance With Jigga, Wale

Last week J Cole was with DJ Semtex and done a Freestyle with U.K artist Chimpmuck. They done the freestyle over "Hello, Good Morning".
J Cole named three songs titles which will be on his debut album. They were “Won’t Be Long”, a No ID produced track titled ”Never Told“, and “Wet Dreams.
The Roc Nation artist also performed at UK Wireless festival on Sunday which are videos below.

Fashawn - Boy Meets World (Throwback)

I'm trying to get back to blogging on this site. I started this post about underground joints that you may have never heard with Blu's "Below The Heavens". This album is very similar with some of the same producers and both Blu and Fashawn are from California. In my opinion this is one of those unknown classics. It was released last year and features a lot of Nas influence. I can play this album straight through with no problem but if I were to pick my favorite tracks they would be Our Way, Samsonite Man, The Score, Life As A Shorty and Bo Jackson.

Eminem and Travis Barker

Travis Barker is one of the worlds most know drummers. He is the the drummer for Blink-182 but does a lot of solo work as well. Which this year he is releasing his his first solo album. In last few years he collaborated with hip-hop artist and groups. He does a lot of remixes of hip-hop songs as well. He was best friends with the late DJ AM, Adam Goldstein. Which they work together and made mixtapes together. Travis Barker first started working with hip-hop artist when he feature on Bun B album 2005 on a song called  "Late Night Creepin'". In 2006 he was a producer on T.I.'s fourth album King. He was the drummer for all of the performers at the MTV Video Music Awards of 2008, including Kid Cudi and LL Cool J. He also featured on The Game's latest album, L.A.X., drumming on the song "Dope Boys". Which is the video below.


He remix the song "Forever" He Remixed Eminem "3AM" Travis Barker was the drummer at this Grammys for the songs Drop The World and Forever. Which were performed by Lil Wayne, Eminem and Drake. Which a few weeks back when Em was doing a event for his album he had Travis on the Drums. He tweet his solo album should be out in September of this year. He said in a interview its not just one genre for the album. Rumors features on the album Game, Lil Wayne, RZA, Rick Ross etc. But none been confirmed yet.
