Interview With Curtains

Could you tell us abit about yourself and how you got the name Curtains?
"Curtains comes from just having that attitude that you are the end all be all. When you come thru any function, its over, shut down, done deal. CURTAINS."

You recently released your mixtape called "Killer Tape" is there anything you like to say about it?
"Killer Tape is an audio manifestation of inspiration and motivation. I'm just tryna inspire those ears out there to do better and reach beyond whats infront of them."

Is "Killer Tape" different to your other mixtapes if so how come?
"Yes. I get way more personal into my life than I have on any project in my career."

There a song on the mixtape called "Maniac" and it featured Kendrick Lamar and Chace Infinite what was it like working them?
"That record was amazing getting done. Kendrick emailed me his verse back and Chace came thru like 4 in the morning and dropped his verse. I actually got to see his process and it was super dope, seeing him hearing the song to laying his verse down. Chace been like my big bro for almost 8 years now so I look up to him, Kendrick is absolutely one of my favorite rappers of the now."

Its still early days but are you happy so far how well the mixtape is doing?
"I'm beyond amazed at the response its been getting from the people and the media. The response has been insane."

On the internet I read you quit music a few years ago and was working one day, your friend Lupe Fiasco came in to the store you was working in did that have affect on you to back to music?
"Yea, just seeing him happy doing what he loved and making a living, getting his message out there and doing it his way, that motivated me to get back in the ring and contend."

Is there any artists and producers you would like to work with in the next year or so, if so is there any reasons why?
"Pusha T cuz he raps really well."

Do you feel you could ever get on to the XXL Freshman list, as you never put out a offical album before under a label so you still could make the list?
"I feel that I am a good contender for the list. Who knows."

So what does the next year hold for Curtains?
"Tour, Album, & more #Killer"

Is there anything else you would like to say?

Interview With Lyrix (Fiasco Friday)

Recently I was speaking to JPolo on twitter he went to Fiasco Friday with Lyrix, so we deiced to do an interview about it and here the first one with Lyrix.

Tell us a abit about yourself?

My name is Lyrix of MakingYouThink. I'm 16 and from Richmond, VA. I'm a positive-conscious Hip Hop artist that knows and appreciates music.

Your recently went to Fiasco Friday, what was it like?

It was a historic experience. Fans and supporters from all over came to get what they wanted, and we did. Power to the people.

Was there any certain vibe when you were there?

The vibe was like no other. It was a bunch of down-to-earth, intellectual sneakerheads who believed in action, and they all had a passion for good music, especially Lupe Fiasco's. It's like we all grew up together on the same block.

There were many people there at Fiasco Friday, did you get a chance to speak to some?

Yeah, during the protest we chalked it up with a lot of people with dope personalities and outlooks. Hannah Kramer, Beverly Nathaniel, Chris Tatum, Alicia Moes, Luella Mink, Dosage, Matt La Corte. We all exchanged info and what not. After the protest, we grabbed some pizza with one of the organizers of the protest, Matt Morrelli, as well as Alicia, Luella, and some others.
Did you enjoy the experience of Fiasco Friday?

It was a once-in-a-lifetime kinda thing. People walking on the street that didn't even know what was going on were enjoying it and rocking out with us to the music. It's so beautiful to see people who have the same beliefs and views. And for those same people to become upset about something, and actually come out and DO something about it, was amazing.

Lasers will be coming out early next year, what do you have to say about it?

I'll be the first person in line at 11:59 the day before. I bought "The Cool" a couple times, just because. "Lasers" comes out on my 17th birthday, and I'm asking my friends at school for copies of the album just because. Good music is like candy to us kind of people.

Whats your favorite Lupe Fiasco song and album?

Favorite song–as of now, "Intruder Alert." Lu' is one of the very few people in music that is bold enough to address some of the things he does. Favorite album–as of now, "The Cool." That's when I first heard Lupe's music. That album changed my life for the better. But that's another story.

So what other artists do you listen to?

I like Ryan Leslie a lot. When I met him, he seemed really down-to-earth as well. B.o.B was on my list since way back, I like Em, Nas, Wale, J. Cole, Big Sean. Other than that, I mostly listen to the people I work with. Embezz Pierre, Mike Hews, my brother, Koncept.

Have you ever thought about making a blog?

LifexLovexLyrix.wordpress.com
Is there anything else you would like to say?

Here comes the cliche shout-out part. Shout outs to Matt Morrelli for organizing Fiasco Friday along with Matt La Corte. Shout outs Lupe Fiasco for being himself. Shout outs to my brother, Koncept. Our mixture, "Koncepts & Lyricism," will be dropping soon. And my bro J-Polo who was the main reason we didn't get lost in New York on Fiasco Friday. And hit me on Twitter @LyrixMYT. Real Hip Hop for life.

Interview With Yoodee Frances

I got a chance to interview the talented Yoodee Frances, check it out below. Its about where she from, singing, her new single and much more. Just want to say thanks for the chance to interview you.

Yoode can you tell us abit about yourself?

I was born and raised in New Jersey.
Ethnicity: West Indian
I come from a Working class family, I learned at a very young age Hard Work Pays Off. 22 years old.
Had a very religiously strict upbringing, I was not allowed to talk on the phone with boys, went to catholic all girls school, and went to church every twice a week. Moved to New York City to get away from New Jersey & pursue a career in Fashion at first and then fell in love with music through my meeting my producer, Var Ez My motto: Work Hard, Play Hard
My fans: I call them bunnies. It is a term of endearment for my female fans that like to Work Hard and Play Hard like I do. My first out-of-country show is this October 1, 2010 at Jupiter Room for Montreal's Pop!
Montreal Festival

You are from and live in New York whats that like?

Living in NYC is amazing. There is no way as an artist I cannot be inspired living here. I feel the same way I did when I was 17 (first moved here). It's like yeah its not the cleanest, friendliest place in the world. But I feel like you can find a little bit of the World in this city.

What made you get in to music?

Even though I was singing all my life, I never wanted to get into music. No one in my family came from a musical background, my parents were strict as hell, and the music world just seem a million miles away. But I met my in-house producer Var Ez, and we recorded some songs together and I was like wow, I think I like this. It happened so naturally.

You have your new single coming out next month can you tell about that?

Yes! I am SUPER excited about it. It is called "Yo Mama."  It was written by me & produced by Var Ez. Its about being wild and having fun and doing things that you're mama really wouldn't approve of ;-) The record is fun, and shows a side of me thats more fiesty and playful. It has this real hip hop dance vibe too it. I love it and Im releasing it very soon!

RIHANNA - ONLY GIRL (YOODEE COVER)

Who inspires you if any could you say why?

I am inspired by risktaskers, fearless artistic individuals...because that is how I want to grow as an artist. People like Madonna, Prince, Micheal Jackson, Kanye West & Lady Gaga take risks with everything: their music, their lyrics, their fashion. I am also inspired by people in general; the way we love and our strength.

What has been your biggest achievement so far in your career?

My biggest achievement so far has to be my show in Montreal coming this October 1st at Jupiter Room. I only started releasing my music & performing a year ago! So it just fuels me to go harder and I can't wait to see with the future has in store!

Out of all the songs you have played what is your favorite?

That is very hard to say, because I've written all my songs and each of them are quite personal. I'd have to say that right now, I have the biggest connection with my song "Yesterday" is a pop ballad and everytime I hear certain words it just gets to me.. everytime!

If you could work with any musical artist who would it be and why?

Kanye West. He's amazing. Lyrically. Musically. Production wise. Vision wise. Next is Gnarls Barkley because I am in LOVE with his writing style and production. Last but not least, Nicki Minaj... just cause I'd love to hear a Barbie x Bunny  collabo!

In the next year what can we expect from Yoode Frances?

Bigger. Better. always... more fearlessness... great live performances... great music. Trust that.

YOODEE FRANCES - SECRETARY

Your also in to Fashion, describe your style if you can?

My style I like to call "glam grunge".... I used to live in the East Village and the style in that area of NYC is so raw I love it. You'll always find me in something black with a Bold color or print, with something studded for my bling. I never want to be too put together you know? Oh! and Im a huge fan of vintage.

What are your favorite brands?
Im not really a "brand" girl but I really diggin' upcoming brands like Evengamba & DimePiece. There's an underwear line called Adeen NYC Assman panties thats fun & dope but then I also love TopShop, LF, & anything vintageeee.

You Dance as well if im current could tell us about that?

I have been dancing for over ten years... I started when I was three. Its one of the parts I enjoy about my performances is connecting with the audience & shaking my tailfeather! Usually I'll have my dancers with me. And me along with my choregraphers A'drey & Brian Henninger coined two signature moves of mine that I do often at shows the "Yoodee whine" & the "Rudeyonce" (a combination of Rihanna's Rude
boy & Beyonce) haha!

In five years time where do you see yourself being?

MUSIC! I would love to have a major label to call home, I would love more fans (of course), more shows, and hopefully expanding my non profit charity TheJustBeCause Organization.

Lastly is there anything else you would like to say?

There is this thing that I started where I began calling my fans "bunnies" as a term of endearment for all my fans that WORK HARD AND PLAY HARD LIKE I DO. I saw that Nicki had her "Barbies" and Lady Gaga had "Monsters" so I got my fans together and it stuck! Now the Bunnies after the world! ;-)

Here's another interview this time its with Tisha but you might know here as akafamous from her blog or on twitter. The interview is below and I just want to thank Tisha for letting me interview her. Also I will have a couple more interview's to put on the blog in next couple of weeks.

Tisha say abit about your self?

I'm a senior in high school *Class of '11* with a love for basketball & modeling. Aspiring to be a journalist using Blogger as the paper to convey the random thoughts of a mixed girl on the journey to success.

When did you first get interested in to modeling and was there any reasons?
I first started modeling when I was 11, yet stopped to continue to play basketball. Then one of my close friends, who was an aspiring model, passed away this past February and now everything I do is to get both of us another step closer to our dreams of modeling.

Your also in to fashion can you tell us about that?
I just love shopping and putting outfits together. It's crazy cuz I was the biggest tomboy growing up so when I say anything about fashion or critique someones outfit, my friends be like "okayyy ms. basketball player turned model turned fashionista" *sarcastic voice*

Tell us abit about your blog if you can?

My blog is simply the journal of random thoughts and life experiences I have, with actual news stories mixed in, rather it be national or hollywood gossip, always equipped with my opinion.

Is there anyone you look up to inspiration?

Yeah, def as I mentioned before my friend Mckenzie inspires me to continue to model. I look up to my grandparents/parents, hoping to make them proud.  And celebrity idols are Beyonce, Tyra, Alicia Keys & Lisa Leslie.

If you had to describe your own style what would you say?

Hmm...its generally very classy, I put together pieces in a way that's different, yet cute. Idk I just put together things kindve like Rihannas style.

What music our you in to and is there any specific artists ?

I love hip hop/rnb yet I listen to it all. Right now I'm new fans of Wale & B.O.B. But I love Bey, CB, Trey Songz, Wiz, Travis Porter, Eminem, ect.

In 5 years time what do you want to be doing?

In 5 years I'll be 23, graduating college with a masters in Journalism and minor in Fashion Merchandising.

Lastly is there anything else you would like to say?

And, just thanks for taking the time to interview MGMT. & I love your music blog, always a reliable source for much needed music reviews.

Interview With Kyri

A few days ago I posted my interview with Jay on the blog and it made me think that I should interview some more people. So I was on twitter and thought I could interview Kyri as he is doing it big with Amour Moi | Abhor Moi. I asked him about it and he said yeah so here it is.

Kyri tell me a bit about your self?
I’m Kyri Brown.. A 16-year-old designer, Style Blogger, and an over all a cool dude (so I’ve been told).
When did you first get interested in to fashion and was there any reasons?

Well, since I was little I have always been into dressing myself and picking out my own clothing. I was always a very creative and talented kid. One of my talents was having a good eye for fashion and style. As, I got older I started building a reputation for the guy that was always well dressed. I don’t think it was any particular reason why I got into fashion. It was just that I liked looking good. Lol

Can you tell us about your blog basically dope?

Ahh … Basically Dope is a blog that I created to share different works of art. Fashion, art, and music … in a way you could say Basically Dope is me… Like for example, the layouts. I am always revamping my blog. Because I get bored easily.. I am the same way with my style … im always revamping my closet and my style

What made you want to make your blog?

I’m not going to lie.. The blog episode made me want a blog.. But what really made me want a blog was, Justin’s and Jevon’s blogs made me actually do it.

Recently you have made Amour Moi | Abhor Moi can you tell us about it?

Amour Moi | Abhor Moi.. Is like my world right now. It is a line I started in May of this year and it is going very well and is still growing and progressing. I put a lot time and hard work into this line. I created the line for many reasons. First being, us as teenagers are major consumers, but yet we have no one representing us in the market. Second reason is that, I love doing it.

What gave you the idea to make Amour Moi | Abhor Moi?

We’ll I have been designing for a long time, and I was bored with just drawing on paper. I was ready to see my work in real life and see it on other people. Around the same time.. I made up my mind that I was going to bring my designs to life, I had a conversation with my homie Justin, and he was telling me about the early stages of Phenomenal Future. I said I can do this.. And thus Amour Moi | Abhor Moi was born.

Where would you Amour Moi | Abhor Moi, to be in 5 years time?

In five years to the date.. I see myself in SoHo walking with Jevon and Justin .. Talking about how we started and how far we have come and our at least second show in NY Fashion Week.

Is there anyone you look up to inspiration?

I look up to The Team (Jevon & Justin), Great Scott, Dee & Ricky, MLK jr., Malcolm X, and my family.

If you had to describe your own style what would you say?

My style is very versatile. The only term I can use is “Basically Dope”

What music our you in to and is there any specific artists?

I’m in to Hip-hop, R&B, and Pop. I like Nicki Minaj (my wife lol), Drake, The-Dream, Rick Ross, My shawty’s GossyP, Diggy, Theo London, and Pharrell.. And people that have similar styles.

In the future do you want to be in the fashion industry?

Yes, Of Course … I’m in the industry now … Watch Out For Your Boy!!

Interview With Jay

A few weeks back I was lucky enough to have the chance to interview Jay from SwaggerJunky
Hopefully in the next month or so I will be able to get some more interviews with from the world of fashion and music.

Jay tell me a bit about your self?

Well, im 16 from the United States, New Jersey to be exact.

When did you first get interested in to fashion and was there any reasons?
I started really getting into fashion actually this year. My uncles really influenced me to really “do” fashion. I had to find my style, learn brands, and learn the industry pretty much by myself. I did have help from my uncles, but fashion is something I think you have to learn by yourself. I don’t think anyone can help you “learn” fashion.

Can you tell us about "SwaggerJunky" your online magazine?

Like you said, Swagger Junky is an online lifestyle magazine. It conveys basically everything from fashion, music, interviews, and gadgets. I love doing it!

What made you want to make "SwaggerJunky"?
Well to be honest, Swagger Junky started off as a challenge. My uncle challenged me to make a site with two hundred dollars. With that money I transformed SWJ from a blogspot into a full blown website. After we started getting some buzz I knew that I had to stick with fashion industry. Its just FUN!

Is there anyone you look up to inspiration?

I mean there are a lot of people that inspire. To be honest random things and people inspire me. But if I had to choose a certain designer/designers I would say, Ugo Mozie, Bernhard Willhelm, and Tatsuro Horikawa. CHECK THOSE GUYS OUT!

If you had to describe your own style what would you say?

My style ranges from what mood im in. One day ill wear Gucci, prada louis, the next day ill just rock harems or sweat pants. I don’t know. I don’t really say I have a style because I always love to try new ideas.

What music our you in to and is there any specific artists ?

I love all music. I love rock, I love screamo, I love rap, I love hip hop, etc, etc. Music is something anyone can relate to. So I listen to it ALL! I am one sided minded, I love trying new things and hearing new things. That’s not saying that all music is good, but I think music truly is something that sooths the soul. As far as specific artist, I do not have any at the moment. I listen to everyone right now.

In the future do you want to be in the fashion industry?

Yes of course. I think fashion has stolen my heart. lol

Lastly is there anything else you would like to say?

Stay true to your dream’s, never let anyone say you can not do something. Be faithful and have hope.

Interview With Levi

1. Levi welcome could you say a bit about yourself and how you got in to music?

Well... I'm just a young kid at the age of 17 with big dreams and the drive to achieve them.
I really got into music like 9 or something. My older brother was the one who really introduced it to me. I remember we were bored at my dad's apt and he was just like, "let's wright a song" and the rest is history.

2. Could you tell us abit about your up incoming project "Street Lights"?

Street Lights is... basically a project about vibes. I wanted every song to have that feeling like you're riding in the car in the city at night and all the bright lights are just flashing. it's a magical feel to me. I can't tell you the biggest thing about the project, you'll just have to listen to find out hahaa.

3. How would you describe your music?

Well, let's see...
I would say i make the type of music that anyone can listen to, no matter what genre they like the most. Also, positive music. Music that can change lives ya know...
God gave me a gift with music and i use it to the best of my ability.

4. Is there any music artist which inspire you and if so you could give some reasons why?

I'd say at the moment i have two MAJOR music inspirations:
1. Lupe Fiasco
2. La Roux
I chose them because they're sound is like years ahead of they're time and nothing that they make seems to fall off. not one bit. Lupe has always been my boy , but i've just recently gotten onto La Roux. It's funny because they're (la roux) not anywhere near a hip hop group
yet they inspire me so much.

5. You're from South-side of Atlanta whats that like?

ahahaaa man.... it's crazy. xD
I was born on the south but moved to the West when my mom went overseas to Iraq.
When she came back i moved back to the Southside.
Down here, I'd say it's mostly thugs (or wanna-be thugs) and
i'm neither so it's kinda harder for me to live here than others.
It's cool sometimes but there is NO WAY i'm gonna stay here for too much longer.
I'm Cali bound.

6. You also do producing who has that been for and whats it like to do?

Producing is awesome... It's like, creating a masterpiece. I've done tracks for Rizzy, FedEx, Myself, & i'm currently working on some my dude LeFty. (can't tell him tho ahaha) & many other artists.

7. Do you have any favorite music albums which stand out to you?

Yes sir i do... Lupe's debut album is BOSS.
I'm a big fan of Lil Wayne's Carter 2 & an artist i'm not sure if you're familiar with, Median. His Median's Relief album was just epic and can't forget 808's. ahaha But La Roux's debut is looking SWEEEEET too.

8. Networking plays a big major part in music and hip-hop world which helps many artist like
yourself get music out what do you think about it?

Really to be honest, i think it's a good thing and a lame thing at times... I say that because it can help get you out there but in many situations more popular artist take all the shine ya know. it's very easy to be overlooked on many networking sites. that's why I go in on all my tracks so that when ppl come across it, they spazz, and support me, as if i was already a big name. But truthfully, as of now i'm really thinking about getting rid of all my social networking execpt twitter. I don't want to become "TOO" accessible to my fans. There is a line that should be drawn between fans & the artist. It makes for a better relationship & better music.

9. You made a lot of songs and freestyles which is your favorite and why?

ahhh good question!
hmmm.... I'd say "High Off Life & Leezy What? Levi Who?" are my favs so far... most people i ask say "Touch the Sky" and "Megaman Music" are they're favs though. To each his own!!!

10. This is a often question I ask people could you tell us your top 5 hip-hop artist of all time and give reasons if you can?

1. Lupe, I say that because he is like... unbelievable sometimes. I actually digest what he says and it's ALOT. he knows what he's doing... and he has that, VIBE.
jeez he's just dope.

2. A tie between J.Rizzy & FedEx.
man them boys are toooo talented... like foreal. I listen to them alot. they gon eff around and be number one soon!

3. Curren$y.
because he made his OWN way, his OWN sound and is doing his thing...
Jets... fool.

4. Biggie.
man... nobody flipped words like that man.
it always amazes me how he could switch rhyming words in the middle of like a 3 or 2. (i usually do on 1 or 4) He chopped his verses too sweet. To this day i wonder how his carreer woulda been if he didn't leave us so soon.

can't think of anymore... sorry. :(

11. In five years time where you like to be?

I'd like to be stationed in L.A with my bro, making good music and changing the world man...
replacing the negativity in the media with something positive.

12. What do you think of current state of hip-hop?

It's... missing something. actually missing 3 things. I'll let you guess that one. ahaha

13. What else can we expect from Levi in the rest of this year?

Well, Street Lights is dropping. then expect the unexpected. simple as that. I'm praying and working towards a big goal man. It's going to happen soon enough. whether this year, next or 5 from now. It's gonna happen. Just be ready when it does...

14. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers?

Uh.... support the greatest music movement the world has ever seen.
& if you already are, much love to ya...

Interview with JUSTIN!

1. Could you tell us abit about yourself?
Im Justin also go by the name of Jdizzle, im 16 years old, live and come from The Netherlands, Amsterdam. I got a passion for fashion, sports and lifestyle. ive been very creative since i can remember when i was little i was sketching alot of things not only clothes but also cars, houses and alot of other stuff i also painted some things and i just love to express myself in a creative way. I got a passion for music i can see alot of me back in it and it drives me to imagine and dream alot for the future and work hard for my dreams im a person who lives the moment tho..! I think people judge other people to fast on only the way they look and i hate that i mean if you dont know somebody how could u "see" how somebody really is and i think this really makes clear about what i mean "They don't know nothing about me, Judgement prevents us from seeing the good, That lies beyond appearances" I also think u need to be real to everyone around u but also to urself i mean nobody likes fake people and i know alot of them and i cant stand them.

2. Tell us abit about your blog?
ive been bloggin for like 10 months now before that i was always checkin out blogs and someday i ran in to diggys blog and alot of blogs from other people so i decided to make a blog my own. I wanted to create a lil space where i could be sharing my thoughts and be creative with the things i like. and i have really much fun in sharing that with other people. I wanna be original and different i dont wanna have just a knock off blog where only copied posts are on i dont do that.

3. How did you come up with the name of your blog?
um.. well i didnt ecxually had a good name in mind and Justin Freshness popped into my head and i thought yea thats okay lol.

4. Who is your favourite fasion designer and why?
I dont only have one favourite designer i have ALOT of designers i look op to designers so as Jeremy Scott, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs,Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Viktor & Rolf, Scott Sternberg,Kris van Assche,Verbal and the list goes on and on and on..

5. What kind fasion style are you in to?
Modern classy, street, Haute Couture, Vintage. im mostly between street and Haute Couture.

6. What clothing brands do you wear?
I wear alot of brands but most of the time i just buy and wear what i like, but ofcourse i love to wear clothes designed by a big fashion designer or just the brands i love but i dont always have the money to buy al of that. but the brands i really like are BBC/IC, Comme des Garcons, Band of outsiders, Yoshi Yamamoto, Maison Martin Margiela,Supreme, Nom de Guerre,Balmain. and this list goes on and on too..

7. If you could work with any fasion designer who would it be?
Thats a tough one.. but if i had to choose somebody i would probably choose for Jeremy Scott because i think that what he creats is kinda exceptional but also basic to wear. though here in the netherlands its like the time is stuck and everybody is walking behind. the most people out here dont really understand it or just dont seem to be interested in all, out here its like normally will do. so when i go to school some people in my class dont know what i like about fashion and they are making fun of me just because im lookin different and i now they do not mean it as a offense but they just do it because they think theyre funny but i dont give a damn cause they dont know where they talkin about and the girls like it haha.. but at the end when im on top i'll show them and they will be amazed.

8. Could you tell us about any if latest sketches?
Lately ive been workin on some winter stuff Jackets, Sweats, Jeans, Shoes, Accessoires and stuff but also just what pops into my head and when i start sketching I can go on and on.

9. Any new ideas cominh to your blog?
Maybe im gonna do some new topics maybe give a new look to my blog but mainly i just wanna make it better! and go harder than i did before. im very busy lately but i'll do my best!

10. Have you got any inspirations?
yeah alot my family ofcourse! but also alot of my friends.. but there are alot of people who inspire me outside that like Diggy he always makes me go harder at my goals and dreams when i see how hard he works and he is just like any other kid workin hard to make their dreams come true i just want to give him all the support he needs and a big compliment for what he ALREADY achieved i think for him it is just the start. since i've been blogging i met alot of people who have the same interest as me and are going to the same things as im going trhu on this moment. I think that when u really want something so bad u just need to step up ur game and take the path u find best for urself.. dont be distracted by people who dont like what ur doing ofcourse alot of people dont see what is so interested in what ur doing they just think its weird but on those moments u need to choose for yourself. And then there are Kanye West and Pharrell alot of people dont see were kanye stands for but in my eyes hes a fashion icon and a great producer. Sometimes he's just drivin by emotions i dont say or think its good but everybody makes mistakes cause were all human. and Pharrell i mean i just look up to that man in any kinda way! I also get alot of inspiration outof music it just drives in alot of different ways like i said before

11. Where do you want to be in 5 years time?
In 5 years i wanna own my own cloting line, i wanna be evolving myself, exploring the world by my experiences i get by the bussiness i want to start. I really would like to be a succesfull person just like anybody else and that wont come just by sitting in a chair it requires hard work and dedication. Diggy sometime mentioned "Imagine it than have that dream in your head until you create" and i'll always do that! I mean i've been to alot of struggles in life and i wanna show people that just by working hard and keep on believing in yourself you can make your dreams come true! Just be creative in the mind and express your self in the way you like to do. But only time will tell where i'll be in 5 years.

12. Finally is there anything last thing you want to say?
thank you very much for inviting me to do this interview.. I really liked it! and sorry for my maybe spelling mistakes and stuff but my main language isnt english so i tried my best to answer the questions in the right way and express me as good as possible! and love the blog! keep it up

Peace & Love, Justin

Why would you want to make yourself like every other kid? haha =D.

2. Tell us a bit about your blog?
About the blog.. My main goal coming into this over the summer was to inspire at least one kid like Diggy inspires most of the teen population and all that. Inspiration is what keeps me going. You will be successful.

3. What made you make your blog?
Honestly... what made me want to do this was Diggy. After seeing what a success and how much he inspires people I wanted to try to do the same. Its crazy how i get things on myspace, Or Facebook saying "I LOVE YOUR BLOG" I never knew shit like that would happen for a kid like me.. hahaha.

4. How did you pick your blogs name?
I picked the name "Taste The Candy" because i wanted to just make something different, After being inspired to make a blog from Diggy i noticed a lot of people where just coming up with the same names just with a different name for example like "The life of a cool kid".. I didn't want to be like everyone else.. So i though hey why don't i combined a blog tittle with the name of a brand i want to make "Candy" and i just wanted to give you guys the "Taste" of my sense in fashion and all that stuff... and thus taste the candy haha=]

5. What kind of fasion are you in to?
What kinda fashion am i? I can't really just sit and say Oh I am this.. Theres many things I am. I can be daring one day with combining Skinny blue jeans with a dress shirt or like wearing the latest fashion from H&M. I Honestly can't just pick one... I just go with the flow.. but the thing is It has to look good. haha

6. Who is your favourite fasion designer?
I have many fav fashion desingers such as Ralph Luan, Victor Glemaud and many more.. But my Fav brand is Burberry.

7. What kind of clothing brands do you buy and why?
The type of clothing I buy and why is i buy anything thats not baggy, Stuff that is fitted.. and stuff that Im into.. things that don't describe what I am not. I buy these types of clothing because I want to give of the right impression, I like to give the look that i am a well educated kid for my age. Which i am.. You never know who you might run into so you always gotta look good =D.

8. What kind of music are you in to?
It all depends on my mood of the type of music i am into.. Theres no set types of music... I love Rap.. well not todays Rap.. I would say I am stuck in 80's and 90's rap.. Im into some rock... and for some reason I love LOVE Jazz haha.

9. Whats your Favourite song?
ummm right now my Fav song is So ambitious by Jay-z and Pharrell, One because it gives me that extra kick to go hard.. Two because.. ITS BY Jay-Z and Pharrell haha.. so many reasons why, Its just an inspirational song.. who wouldn't want to be ambitious to strive for their goals?

10. In five years time what do you want to be doing or studying?
Honestly in five years my name will be everywhere.. I don't mean to sound cocky.. But Im striving for success so hard.. and when you put your right foot ahead I know i can make it.. and thats what I've been doing this whole time.. I would prob be doing something with Fashion.. From running my line to being on magazine covers =D.. I hope.

11. Tell us about some of your sketches?
My sketches have really been based on the ladies for some reason... I've been really inspired by lady gagas looks and all that.. so I've been designing some stuff around her look and my taste.. I will drop some on the blog in time.

12. Is there anything new happening to your blog in the up coming months?
all i have to say is to my fans Stick around to the blog because we are just getting started, and you can anticipate there will be some fresh new changes That i KNOW you will love and be into =D. Im not going to say much.. But expect there will be some amazing new stuff.
