2011 XXL Freshmen Predictions

Every year the XXL Freshmen list is something to question. I've seen a lot of predictions for this year's upcoming list. Here's my prediction for this year's list in no order. These aren't all my favorite artists this is who I think is gonna be on the list.

Curt@!N$ - Real talented dude one of my favorites. He needs to get a little more exposure but you can't deny that he has skills on the mic.

Big K.R.I.T. - He has skills but I picked him mainly because he's one of the better emcees coming from the south.

Dom Kennedy - Been making a name for himself. But dude is mostly new to me.

Eminem & Raekwon Collabo? & Nas

Wu-Tang's Raekwon continues to build on the hype garnered by his highly-successful Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...Part II, as he has hinted at high-profile collaborations with Eminem and Nas.

Rae explained that the two had a connection of which he was previously unaware. "We spoke for a few but he had a ill story he said when he was gettin on he came to staten for parkhill day in 97 and that blew my mind!"

Travis Barker Album Features

Travis Barker continues to solidify his place in the Hip Hop community, as the drummer/producer has added Slaughterhouse, Raekwon and Kurupt to the billing of his currently-untitled solo album. "I'm producing and making all the music and then I'm getting all my favorite rappers and vocalist to be a part of it so it's been a dream come true," said Barker in an interview with TheBoomBox.com. "It's been amazing.

Everyone from like RZA, and Raekwon to Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Slaughterhouse. It's crazy. It's been really really fun. We just got Kurupt on a song, so I've been working my butt off. I can't wait for everyone to hear it."

Barker's album hits stores this September.
