This post is going back to early 90s of Fresh Prince ( Will Smith) and Dj Jazzy Jeff. Everyone knows Will Smith and have see Fresh Prince Of Bell Air. Its is a dope TV show. But this post is on the duo back in the day when they started in hip hop. They made albums like Rock The House, Hes The DJ im The Rapper, And In The Corner, Homebase, Code Red.

They made great tracks like A Touch of Jazz, Nightmare On My Street, Summertime, Parents Just Dont Understand etc.

Parents Just Dont Understand won a grammy adward and it was the first ever hiphop act which had won one before. I heard many tracks by the duo. I think they are DOPE. If you like hiphop your like them TRUST. Will Smith AkA Fresh Prince is a great old school rapper I think. And Dj Jazzy Jeff is one of the best DJs of all time in hiphop. Today In General

Just wanted to do a quick post, as I am so busy for the next couple of hours.
Def Jam has been aroud for 25YEARS now, I got to give it up to them. They have done such a good job and its a dope record label I think .Other news in the hiphop world today is LL Cool J is a nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. If LL Cool J gets in to the hall of fame he would be the third hiphop act in it. As Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and Run D.M.C have been put in to the hall of fame recent years. I am 100% supporting LL Cool J to get in. He been around for 25 years now and he is a great rapper.

Rakim & Eric. B

I thought today I would do a post on one of the hottest duo groups in hiphop history. Rakim a most influential rappers of all time and his skill is top class.
Eric B was the DJ he could do anything with turntables. They were a great rap duo.

I got there album "Paid In Full" it got voted one of the top hiphop albums of all time. If you have not got it trust me on this one. Buy it or download it. It got some classic tracks like "Eric B. Is President", "I Ain't No Joke", "I Know You Got Soul", "Move the Crowd", and "Paid in Full". I love "Eric B. Is President" such a great song to me and I could listen to it over and over again.

Other albums were Follow the Leader, Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em and Don't Sweat the Technique. All their albums are great to me. I got many songs from the Duo. They were such a good duo as it has a great DJ and a great MC. Some people say Rakim is one of the best rappers ever which I agree with personally. Then Eric B he is a good DJ and music producer.

I just wanted to make this psot for all people who follow Rakim and Eric B. Or other who have never heard of them check them out trust. And Rakim got a solo album out this year. Check the video out its Rakim and Rric B - Eric B For President.

I always check up on one of my favourite hiphop website http://allhiphop.com. They always do interviews with hiphop artists. Asking them there top 5 dead or alive hiphop artists. Well here is my mine.

The list is just people I been listen to at momment really. As people like Rakim, Nas, Common,Eminem,Dre,Tupac,Biggie Smalls, Dre, Eazy E, Andre 3000 were close. There are still more who I have not said. Its just my five at the momment really. What you think? Do your list if you want to?
