Lupe Fiasco - Making Of A Legend?

It seems Lupe Fiasco is only 27 years old and he is from Chicago. He was featured on Kanye West's single, "Touch the Sky" in 2005. During this time, rapper and mogul Jay-Z heard Fiasco and assisted him in the production of what would become his debut album Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquo. The album had likes of Jay Z and Pharell on it. The album dropped in 2006. But then in 2007 he drop his second album which was called Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. This album was more on his own which I like so much about it. Tracks like Hiphop Saved By Life and Rockstar shows how good Lupe is.

Lupe third album should drop early next year and its called Lasers. He put out the first single in july and it was called Shining Down. Lupe released the mixtape Enemy of the State: A Love Story on November 26th, which features the beats from Diddy's "Angels" and Jay-Z's "Thank You" and "So Ghetto", amongst others.

Jay Electronica

How can a dude that's from the same city Lil Wayne is from sound like this. I've heard the name Jay Electronica for some time now but I never paid attention to the guy. A couple weeks ago though I checked out a song by him called "Exhibit C". The real reason I checked it was because Just Blaze produced the track. After listening to that song I instantly became a fame of this dude. I think "Exhibit A" is one of the best rap songs to come out in years. I later found that this dude is also a producer and has done tracks for Nas and others. I've checked other songs by him but he doesn't have that much material. I think this dude is exactly what rap needs.

Reflection Eternal f. Jay Electronica, J. Cole & Mos Def - Jus' Begun

Yo check out this new track from Reflection which features (DJ Hi Tek one of the dopest producers and Talib Kweli) the song features Jay Electronica, J. Cole & Mos Def so you know this song is classic. I'm feeling it but I don't know if the title's supposed to be Untitled.

Wale Freestyles Over Young Money Bedrock

Wale Freestyles Over Young Moneys Bedrock he kills it.

My Top 10 Albums 2009.

This is my list of my top 10 hiphop albums in 2009. The list is not in order. They are all great albums I have put on the list. This year has show the likes of Wale and Kid Cudi show what they are made of. Then the likes of Eminem and Jay Z showing they are still on top of hiphop. Even some artists who been around much longer than othrs likes of Redman & Method Man, Rakim, Mos Def. Check th list out.

Rakim - Seventh Seal was a album which showed lots of different things about it as one of the them was Rakim was back and his new style. It was almost Rakim showin this new style of hiphop which othr artist do as well. But as Rakim been away for so long it was dope to see him put out such a great album. I am a massive fan of Rakim and this album showed my Rakim is one of the best. He can do it as solo artist and in a duo. A very strong album it was I would say.

The Ecstatic by Mos Def was my fav album of the whole year. As im a real big fan of Mos Def and I love seeing him back to hiphop. It showed the true mos def and was he able to do in hiphop. A very golden age artist I would say and he is on of the best of alltime to me. This album left it mark this year to me. Mos Def is very underated in hiphop I would say. It had a track with Slick Rick which was great to see.

Method Man & Red Man - Blackout2 it was a album which showed me statement of hiphop as a whole. As these two repersent the whole 90s in hiphop to me. It was a solid albums every track was dope. It came out early in the year I think may but showed they work so well as a duo. I love listening to it.

Eminem - Relapse was an album which showed em was back and it came out early this year. It was a very strong album as it had many great tracks. I was not massive fan on " We Made you" it made me alugh though. I had to put the album in the list as it was Eminem come back. I expect eminem replase 2 will be out next year.

Before I Self Destruct by 50 Cent showed a different type of fiddy, but I still like it. It had people saying 50 Cent lost it etc. But I think he has not. I still listen to 50 cent and always will. I lik the his new style on the album. Also his track with Eminem on it I really like litening to that. Also it has the JMJ dvd with it which is a dope dvd and it showed what Jam Master Jay done for 50 Cent.

Slaughterhouse by Slaughterhouse was there first album and it showed what they had. It was a very solid album and they work well on it. It had to be on the list as it was there first and it was that good. Joe Budden a member in Slaughterhouse is my fav memeber and he killed all his parts in the album.

Blueprint 3 by Jay-Z made to be in the list it was a great album showing Jay Z on of the best still in the world. And what year it has been for him. I got the album of on the day it came out on itunes and I listen to it so many times. Many great tracks on the album but my fav was " A Star Is Born" which is not a single off it. It was with J Cole and it was dope. Hov killed the album.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Pt. II by Raekwon show he can be a solo artist as well as being in a hiphop group. His album was very good and it shows Raekwon been around for a lon time and still got it. It has some dope guests on it Popa Wu, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Method Man, Slick Rick, Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, Suga Bang Bang, Tash Mahogany, Styles P, Blue Raspberry, Lyfe Jennings, Busta Rhymes, Cappadonna. Lots of people were on it and it made a great album that way.

Man On The Moon: End Of Day by Kid Cudi was a dope album and everyone agrees. For one I like Kid Cudi music and his fasion. He is very talented artist. His album was just what I expected. It had so much hype before it came out but you know it would live up to its hype. Cant wait for his next album.

Attention Deficit by Wale has to be in the top 10 as he came a long way from his mixtapes to his first album. I really like the album but feel sorry for Wale as so many people just downloaded it from the internet when it leaked. Back to the album though it was better than I thought it was going to be. Wale shown he is able to make a good album and he has done well this year. Im a very big fan of Wale now.

Peace.

T.I. Released From Prison

Yeah that's right you might have forgot about but T.I. has been released from prison and was sent to a halfway house for the rest of his sentence. So he's not all the way back yet.

XXL spoke with Tip’s lead defense attorney in his federal gun case, Steve Sadow, who confirmed the news. “He was released this morning from his place of incarceration in Arkansas,” Sadow said. “As I understand it, he’s on his way back to the Atlanta area. He has to report to a halfway house in Atlanta sometime this evening. And he will then spend somewhere between the next two or three months in a halfway house, ending his Buruea of Prison sentence.“

According to Sadow, T.I. will have a lot more freedom under his new living conditions. “A halfway house is more along the lines of a residential dormitory,” he explained of the rap star’s new stipulations. “You live within this house that is broken into areas for living, and you are permitted to leave during the day for certain reasons of which would be employment, medical reasons, things of that nature, and you return to the halfway house in the evening. So it’s a restriction on your liberty but it’s a way for you to reenter into society and not be confined within a jail type institution 24-hours a day.”

Let's hope he comes back with music like this

Toronto

I wanted to do my first non American city in a post. The first city I could think of was Toronto probably because when you talk about somewhere outside of America I usually hear Toronto. I actually never noticed how many rappers were from Toronto. Some notable rappers from Toronto are Drake, K'naan,  Kardinal Offishall, JD Era, Famous, and one of the biggest producers out right now Boi1da. I could name a lot more underground rappers I know from Toronto but I don't feel like listing more than I already did.

Collection Of Some My Fav Freestyles

I wanted to do a post on freestyles and show you lot some dope ones. Freestyle is very important in hiphop and artists. Its how hiphop formed from freestyle battles in the 1970s in parks etc. If an artist can freestyle it shows they can be quick with words and got flow. This just some of my favourite freestyles. Im not going to put my favourite on up as its Big & Jay Z 1992 I put up many times before. But here are some.

Yo! MTV Raps - Last Episode Freestyle Part 1 feat. Rakim, KRS-ONE, Erick Sermon, Chubb Rock & Mc Serch. "OLD SKL"

The Roots - Doing There Thing In NYC

Nas - H to the OMO (Jay-Z Freestyle Diss)

Rappers To Watch In 2010

I was supposedly holding off this list until New Years Eve then it was Christmas Eve but right now I have some time on my hands so I will post it today. The actual idea of this list is based on rappers who haven't dropped albums yet who will 2010. Now some of these artists have dropped albums but I feel they didn't reach the maximum popularity they did with that album and I feel they will be bigger in 2010. Get ready to read this is going to be my longest post ever. Oh yeah and the other notable rappers are in my mind just as good as the ones I put on the list but they didn't make it for some reason in my mind.

New Mos Def Freestyle - 24 Hour Karate School

Its a bit different but I enjoyed listening to it. peace.

Some Albums I Cant Wait For In 2010.

Here are just some of the albums I am looking forward to next year. Others are like andre 3000 solo album, Outkaste, T.I, Eminem, Drake, De La Soul, The Roots etc. There are many albums dropping it going to be a crazzzy year. But here are some.
Nas and Damian Marley album which should drop next year in march. It will be called Distant Relatives. It will be a dope albums as the single they done in 2007 was classic. I really want this album to drop soon.

Nicki Minaj first album will drop next year and im looking forward to this. She is very gifted and its a female artists as well we have not seen much of them in hiphop last couple of years. she been killing all her tracks with Young Money.

J Cole we all know about him from his mixtapes which were fire. Then Jay-Z signed him to his label Roc Nation. Then when he was on blueprint 3 a star is born track with hov he killed it. So his first album should drop next year and he put out a sinlge called Lights Please.

Finaly Dr Dre Detox hopefully it will drop early next year rather than late. We all know what dre can do its just waiting for it. He said about this album like 2003 or something. So it has been along time since he been saying it will drop. With the likes of Eminem, Ice Cube, Game etc. On the album it should be dope.

This trackkk is pure HIPHOP!

12.15.2009

Lil'Wayne Ft Eminem - Drop The World

Juelz Santana

Juelz Santana is an artists who is from new york but he is only young still 27 years of age. Even though he drop two albums one in 2003 called From Me To U and one in 2005 which is called What the Game's Been Missing!. So his next one is dropping in 2010 and its going to be called Born to Lose, Built to Win. It have likes of Weezy, Drake & Chris Brown on it I been told. I think Juelz Santana is a good artists but it has mix views in his time in hiphop. what you all think?

12.14.2009

Jim Jones Ft Rev Run. ITS DOPE.

I never really been a massive fan of jim jones is music but as it had rev run I lsiten to it. I thoughts it a dope track Rev Run kills it. So maybe a possible come back album in next couple of years. I would love to see it. whats you think of the track.

12.13.2009

Nas & Damian Marley National Geographic Video Recap.

Nas & Damian Marley at National Geographic's. With Key figures of this discussion will be present. Moderated by Sway Calloway, the Distant Relatives event will include DJ Kool Herc, Rakim, Daddy U-Roy, King Jammy, Jeff Chang and Moussa Lo and DJ Red Alert - in addition to Nas and Marley.

New Orleans

Ok so this is our first southern rap city. I had to do one. This is probably the best out of the bunch besides Atlanta. New Orleans has so much talent and appreciate the music these dudes make. Most notably when you think of New Orleans you think of Cash Money Records which has been around sincce 1991. Some notable rappers from New Orleans are Lil Wayne, Curren$y, Birdman, Juvenile, Jay Electronica, DJ Khaled, Mannie Fresh, B.G., & Mack Maine.

12.12.2009

Nicki Minaj- A Classs Act.

I done a post on nicki minaj like two months ago and people were saying nicki needed to improve etc. but now in the recent months and weeks she been putting out some dope music. I dont really do many posts on female rappers as there not that many out there at this present time. I think she is dope and very talented and she behide youn money which is good as that label going places. With the likes of Weezy, her, drake and other on there.

She is a newyork queens girls which queens have had some great artists from there. She is killing the tracks she been in lately most are remixs, freestyle or guest in a track. But math or jimmy put a post up a couple weeks of freestyle from hiphop adwards and nicki kill it in the video. Check her in these tracks.

Nicki Minaj Album drops next year and im sure it will be dope and hot.

Eazy E

I have always been a big fan of N.W.A but I think Eazy E solo work as an artist is dope. He was one of the kings of gangster rap. He was with the likes Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Yella, Mc Ren in NWA. But Eazy E died in 1995 and it was a sad day for hiphop. But his legancy is still here. He got five solo albums which one is greatest hits kind of album. He has left his work on hiphop though as in his video having guns etc. Also Eazy E son is called Lil'Eazy-E which I never heard off but been told about him. He is young but dropping an album next year I think.

12.11.2009

Nas Throwback Freestyle Video.

One My favourite videos on tim westwood show.
Peace

12.10.2009

Drake & Jay-Z "Light It Up"?

Drake said in this interview that he has made a track with hov called "light it up". I thought Jay-Z should been in forever but he was not. But they did do a track on blueprint 3 called "Off That". check video of Drake interview.

12.09.2009

Outasight

Outasight is a rapper but he probably like no other rapper. He has such a different style. He sounds like he should be performing on a stage in New York. He brings something new to rap that I think is really dope. He has an old school hip hop style and adds singing to it and it sounds like a band is playing behind him. Definitely original. You should check out "Radio New York" which is a promotional album. Check out From There To Here and From Here To Eternity is coming.

What's Going On (Dec. 8th)

I haven't done this post in a while (6 days to be exact). It's extra late about now but I couldn't put this off. Especially not today. First off 4 dope albums dropped today. Clipse - Til The Casket Drops (Best of them), Timbaland - Shock Value II, Snoop Dogg - Malice N Wonderland, & Gucci Mane - The State Vs. Radric Davis. I'm copping Til' The Casket Drops I've been listening to that for like 2 weeks now. Also Billboard Magazine confirmed Eminem as the top selling artist of the decade. He sold 32.2 million albums just beating out The Beatles. I felt like giving you some of the good videos that dropped today. Want some more news from my point of view check my blog Math Class Heroes

12.08.2009

Mickey Factz

Mickey Factz is a rapper from the Bronx. I just got up on him. I think he's pretty good. I like his style his music fresh and his flow is nice. He's signed to Jay's RocNation label that has also signed J. Cole & manages Wale & Melanie Fiona. Hopefully being on that label will lead to an album next year.  He actually has a lot of songs. Before about a month ago I had only heard a couple tracks from him. Check the mixtapes "Who The Fuck Is Mickey Factz" & "Heaven's Fallout". On my blog Math Class Heroes he will be featured on my hottest rappers for 2010 list. Don't know when that's getting posted.

CRAZY IS THE WORD. 50 Cent To Join Nas & JayZ?

Jay-Z, 50 Cent And Nas To Record Song?

I just went on rapbasement and saw 50 Cent is reported to join Jay-Z and Nas on there up in coming track "Empire State Of Mind" remix. Im not 100% on this if its true or not. But if it was it would be crazy. As I thought Hov got Nas to diss him and beanie seal? Fiddy had diss Nas "Piggy Bank" track a longtime ago.
But if 50 Cent does this track does it mean Beanie wont be going to sin for G unit records?

This video is one I found on youtube of Jay Z & Nas dissin Fiddy last year.

GRAMMY Awards - Hiphop Awards

Well we all know Grammys are early next year. I like watching it and see artists win adwards etc. But as this is a hiphop blog only do hiphop adwards. There are five hiphop adwards in the grammys. First Best Rap Solo Performance - Best I Ever Had" - Drake, "Beautiful" - Eminem , "D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)" - Jay-Z ,"Day 'N' Nite" - Kid Cudi, "Casa Bey" - Mos Def. All good tracks but Drakes was his first big hit so it might put him high up for the grammy. But Beautiful from Eminem was a massive hit and showed a new style of Eminem. D.O.A was hov telling death of auto tune. Kid Cudi track was very big. Last Mos Def - Casa Bey to me I would love to see Mo Def win it. He is so under rated and that track is dope.

Second adward Best Rap Performance By a Duo/Group "Too Many Rappers" - Beastie Boys & Nas, "Crack A Bottle" - Eminem, Dr. Dre & 50 Cent, "Money Goes, Honey Stay" - Fabolous & Jay-Z, "Make Her Say" - Kid Cudi, Kanye West & Common, "Amazing" - Kanye West & Young Jeezy. Some great tracks here. I would like to see Beastie Boys get it as they been around for years and its a good track also got NAS in it. I would be surprised if in Crack A bottle got it. Fab & Hov could get it as it was a great hit. Other two tracks are solid ones though.

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration - "Ego" - Beyoncé & Kanye West, "Knock You Down" - Keri Hilson, Kanye West & Ne-Yo, "Run This Town" - Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West, "I'm On A Boat" - The Lonely Island & T-Pain, "Dead and Gone" - T.I. & Justin Timberlake. This has to be Run This town it is massive track or Dead & gone T.I & JT kill it.

Best Rap Song - "Run This Town" - Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West , "D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune)" - Jay-Z , Dead and Gone" - T.I. & Justin Timberlake , Day 'N' Nite" - Kid Cudi , Best I Ever Had" - Drake . I cant say for this one there all good tracks in my view. But there some other track which could be on here.

Last Best Rap Album - Universal Mind Control - Common, Relapse - Eminem, R.O.O.T.S. - Flo Rida, The Ecstatic - Mos Def, The Renaissance - Q-Tip,. I dont mind ho this goes to just not Flo Rida. Mos Def album was good. Eminem was dope. Q-Tip & Common were great. Its very hard. I might give it to Common Or Mos Def I liek there album. But it could go to any off the four I said.

PEACE.

Classic Track.

Nasty Nas

There aint much happening nothing in hiphop so im out of ideas of a post. So I thought I do a post on one of the dopest mc all time. NAS. I might done poston him before before. But as its Nas I could do like 20 on him and it still would be good. Well first Nas been around since the early 90s he first started in 1994 as illmatic drop which is his first album. It is one of the best albums of alltime to me. He killed every track in it. And at such a young age and do a album like it was it shows how good he is. He was hailed as the next Rakim which could added pressue on him. But in the late 90s he was on top his game but then him and jayz had beef with each other. It started that JayZ sampled Nas voice on one of Jay Z early tracks. Then they started dissing each other and in finally ended in 2005.

Other key things in 2006 Nas droped "hiphop is dead" its an album showing what hiphop is all about. I agree with the title 100% as at the time hiphop was dropping. This album was needed to make hiphop back on top. It rised from this. Nas called it this as at the time he had artists like Kanye & Lil Wayne who were adding a new type of hiphop. Which was good but we still wanted the old style. So Nas thought of doing this album. He was not hating on no one just wanted this style back. Artists lik Krs One & DMX agreed with Nas on this album. Then in 2008 Nas had the best album of the year to me it was called "untitled" he was not allowed to call it what he wanted to. But this album was dope and hot. It showed Nas had still got it.

To me Nas is one of the best rappers of all time as he is got his own style and its the way he does his music. With Nas only at 36 he is still going strong and he made 9albums since 94. Nas is lyrics are better than anyones to me. I would say he is equal to any other or above them. Only a couple artists you could argue Nas with at that level. Just watch out for Nas as his album with Damian Marley dropping next year. I still think a solo album from him could also be dropped. And this JayZ & Nas Diss Fiddy & Beanie Seal. Nas Is one of a kind to me. Is is a god to hiphop and to me. He inspires me to blog at time when I listening to his tracks.

Last thing I wanted to say. Give it up to Nas(Math) he is killing it with his blog everyday by dropping latest news on hiphop check out his blog. http://mathclassheroes.blogspot.com/
Also give it up to blogs of Nnamz, Jimmy, Justin, MalibuMara. Let this blog to 100 followers

Interview with JUSTIN!

1. Could you tell us abit about yourself?
Im Justin also go by the name of Jdizzle, im 16 years old, live and come from The Netherlands, Amsterdam. I got a passion for fashion, sports and lifestyle. ive been very creative since i can remember when i was little i was sketching alot of things not only clothes but also cars, houses and alot of other stuff i also painted some things and i just love to express myself in a creative way. I got a passion for music i can see alot of me back in it and it drives me to imagine and dream alot for the future and work hard for my dreams im a person who lives the moment tho..! I think people judge other people to fast on only the way they look and i hate that i mean if you dont know somebody how could u "see" how somebody really is and i think this really makes clear about what i mean "They don't know nothing about me, Judgement prevents us from seeing the good, That lies beyond appearances" I also think u need to be real to everyone around u but also to urself i mean nobody likes fake people and i know alot of them and i cant stand them.

2. Tell us abit about your blog?
ive been bloggin for like 10 months now before that i was always checkin out blogs and someday i ran in to diggys blog and alot of blogs from other people so i decided to make a blog my own. I wanted to create a lil space where i could be sharing my thoughts and be creative with the things i like. and i have really much fun in sharing that with other people. I wanna be original and different i dont wanna have just a knock off blog where only copied posts are on i dont do that.

3. How did you come up with the name of your blog?
um.. well i didnt ecxually had a good name in mind and Justin Freshness popped into my head and i thought yea thats okay lol.

4. Who is your favourite fasion designer and why?
I dont only have one favourite designer i have ALOT of designers i look op to designers so as Jeremy Scott, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs,Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Viktor & Rolf, Scott Sternberg,Kris van Assche,Verbal and the list goes on and on and on..

5. What kind fasion style are you in to?
Modern classy, street, Haute Couture, Vintage. im mostly between street and Haute Couture.

6. What clothing brands do you wear?
I wear alot of brands but most of the time i just buy and wear what i like, but ofcourse i love to wear clothes designed by a big fashion designer or just the brands i love but i dont always have the money to buy al of that. but the brands i really like are BBC/IC, Comme des Garcons, Band of outsiders, Yoshi Yamamoto, Maison Martin Margiela,Supreme, Nom de Guerre,Balmain. and this list goes on and on too..

7. If you could work with any fasion designer who would it be?
Thats a tough one.. but if i had to choose somebody i would probably choose for Jeremy Scott because i think that what he creats is kinda exceptional but also basic to wear. though here in the netherlands its like the time is stuck and everybody is walking behind. the most people out here dont really understand it or just dont seem to be interested in all, out here its like normally will do. so when i go to school some people in my class dont know what i like about fashion and they are making fun of me just because im lookin different and i now they do not mean it as a offense but they just do it because they think theyre funny but i dont give a damn cause they dont know where they talkin about and the girls like it haha.. but at the end when im on top i'll show them and they will be amazed.

8. Could you tell us about any if latest sketches?
Lately ive been workin on some winter stuff Jackets, Sweats, Jeans, Shoes, Accessoires and stuff but also just what pops into my head and when i start sketching I can go on and on.

9. Any new ideas cominh to your blog?
Maybe im gonna do some new topics maybe give a new look to my blog but mainly i just wanna make it better! and go harder than i did before. im very busy lately but i'll do my best!

10. Have you got any inspirations?
yeah alot my family ofcourse! but also alot of my friends.. but there are alot of people who inspire me outside that like Diggy he always makes me go harder at my goals and dreams when i see how hard he works and he is just like any other kid workin hard to make their dreams come true i just want to give him all the support he needs and a big compliment for what he ALREADY achieved i think for him it is just the start. since i've been blogging i met alot of people who have the same interest as me and are going to the same things as im going trhu on this moment. I think that when u really want something so bad u just need to step up ur game and take the path u find best for urself.. dont be distracted by people who dont like what ur doing ofcourse alot of people dont see what is so interested in what ur doing they just think its weird but on those moments u need to choose for yourself. And then there are Kanye West and Pharrell alot of people dont see were kanye stands for but in my eyes hes a fashion icon and a great producer. Sometimes he's just drivin by emotions i dont say or think its good but everybody makes mistakes cause were all human. and Pharrell i mean i just look up to that man in any kinda way! I also get alot of inspiration outof music it just drives in alot of different ways like i said before

11. Where do you want to be in 5 years time?
In 5 years i wanna own my own cloting line, i wanna be evolving myself, exploring the world by my experiences i get by the bussiness i want to start. I really would like to be a succesfull person just like anybody else and that wont come just by sitting in a chair it requires hard work and dedication. Diggy sometime mentioned "Imagine it than have that dream in your head until you create" and i'll always do that! I mean i've been to alot of struggles in life and i wanna show people that just by working hard and keep on believing in yourself you can make your dreams come true! Just be creative in the mind and express your self in the way you like to do. But only time will tell where i'll be in 5 years.

12. Finally is there anything last thing you want to say?
thank you very much for inviting me to do this interview.. I really liked it! and sorry for my maybe spelling mistakes and stuff but my main language isnt english so i tried my best to answer the questions in the right way and express me as good as possible! and love the blog! keep it up

Peace & Love, Justin

Philly

You know I had to do my own city. And you know I know every rapper that's ever come out of philly but I aint gonna waste my time writing em all. Some of these dudes are my cousins and I've met some of em. Some notable philly rappers are Black Thought of The Roots, Cassidy, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Eve, Meek Millz (upcoming dude you'll know him), Young Chris, Gillie Da Kid & Will Smith (Can't forget the Fresh Prince). I could keep going. Come on we underrated.

Big L - Tribute

Im listening to my ipod and Big L freestyle with Jay Z pop up. So I thouht I do a post about on the great Big L. Who got shot in 1999. If he was still around to day he would be on top. First Big L is from Harlem which is an area i new york. He was such a gifted emMc. But only made two albums which were Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous and it was made in 1995. Its got JayZ on one of the tracks. Its a young Hov on there. Its a dope album and in 2000 his second album drop. Even though he died in early 1999 they put his album out a year later though. His second album was called The Big Picture which had tracks wit Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, 2Pac and Dj Premier. Then album of all Big L best work which is called The Archives 1996-2000.

The Return of the Devil's Sonwhich should be dropping 2010 its all of Big L work which has not been on albums and its tracks which are very underground. Some might have been heard. but not many of them. It off his early and late music. Its a mixture. So its like what they done with 2 Pac and Biggie Smalls after they died make an album off there hidden music. Anyways back to Big L he is was a very know artists in the 1990s he done tracks with Nas, Ma$E and many more. A lot of time people qustion who is the king of New york? Biggie Or Big L. Which is coming in a later post one day.

This is a crazy freestyle of Jay Z & Big L. It was made in 1992. So it very old but pure gold. I put it on a post like 2months ago. Just check it out.

This is video of a documentary which is dropping next year all about Big L. Its a trailer of it. It looks dope and its about Big L past and his what he done for hiphop. Also how well know he was from artists. To me if Big L made more albums he would be up there as one of best of alltime. Such a great artists.

And give it up to Diggy Simmons for his mixtape which is droppin to night. Also I just want to say NAS (MATH) & JIMMY DOING A DOPE JOB ON THE BLOG.

JAY Z & NAS TEAM UP TO DISS BEANIE SEAL & GAME DISS EVERYONE!

Its the first day of december and alot happening. Jay Z needed someone to help him for this beef with Beanie Seal and 50 Cent. So we all know Jay Z & Nas are doing empire state of mind remix which they are goin to diss beanie seal and fiddy on it. I really looking forward to this track and I want Jay Z & Nas to kill Beanie in the track. Hoping to see a good diss out of this. And then what will Beanie Seal & Fiddy pull back?

And The Game does a freestyle which he disses Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, Suge, Jay-Z, Jim Jones and 50 Cent. So this goingto cause promblems I think. Well im out.

Detroit

I figured I'd stay in the same area as the Chicago post. Detroit and Chicago are very similar cities in my opinion. I also like a lot of the rappers that are out there. Some notable rappers from Detroit are Eminem, Royce Da 5'9, Big Sean, Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids & the late producer J Dilla is from Detroit as well. A great city that is sometimes overlooked and underrated in hip hop. I got another post coming later tonight.
