Last night was Eminem and Jay-Z The Home & Home Tour was in New York. It was the first show in New York and there is one more tonight at Yankee Stadium. B.o.B opened like he did in Detroit but Roc Nation artist J Cole came out and performed as well. Then Eminem done his part in the show bringing out guests though out the show were Dr Dre, 50 Cent, B.o.B and D12.

Then it had Jay-Z performing and he brought out Kanye West to perform "Power Remix" and "Monster". Nicki Minaj came out for "Monster" as well. Jay had Memphis Bleek, Drake and Young Jeezy as well in guests on stage though out the show. When he performed "Young Forever" Beyonce came out to perform it with him.

50 Cent spoke about the picture with Jay-Z backstage at Detroit show Thursday night. Also he said how him and Diddy have cooled the beef. Below is what the New York rapper said about it.

“We got a chance to kick it for a minute. I know people were interested in what that conversation was like. But they can ask Jay-Z. I take people’s actions as if it’s genuinely how they feel. I can only use what I saw you do as if that’s what you meant. I can’t understand what your motivation was prior to that.”
“I had a conversation with Puffy the night before Jay. He gave me a whole new perspective on his actions. He’s like, ‘I understand the way you felt because of what I was doing at the time. But I wasn’t thinking what you was thinking I was. You done hit me nine times. I’m just in the fetal because I understand why you are attacking me. But if I can’t touch bases with you to tell you what I’m thinking or why I did it, then you can’t understand it.’ We created a little clarity out there.”

Last night was the first show of Eminem and Jay-Z The Home and Home Tour. It started with B.o.B opening it and on stage for about 30 minutes. Then Jay-Z came out and performed some of his classic tracks. Jay-Z had Memphis Bleek and Young Jeezy on at separate times on stage. Then Eminem came out after Jay-Z finished. Em had many guests which were Dr Dre, B.o.B, Drake, Jay-Z, G-Unit, 50 Cent, D12, Trick Trick, The Alchemist. I seen a lot of videos from Eminem and Jay-Z performing from last night and everyone is dope. Some people are saying its the greatest hip-hop concert of all-time but we got three more shows yet. The Home and Home Tour continues Friday night (September 3) at Comerica Park and comes to Jay-Z's home of New York City on September 13 and 14 at Yankees Stadium.

B.o.B. Opening Eminem & Jay-Z Show On Thursday

B.o.B is the opening act for the first two Em and Jay concerts at Comerica Park in Detroit. Also Eminem sound checks for Comerica Park for Thursday. Tony Yayo and 50 Cent are both in Detroit so they might be guest in the shows for Eminem we dont know yet. But its going to be a dope show.

Jay-Z Early Fast Flow To Reasonable Doubt?

Everyone knows who Jay-Z is and his music as well this is not a feature artist post about him. Its about how he change his style and technique in his music. Before his first album Reasonable Doubt came out in 1996 you could say Jay used to rap faster. This was in Hov earlier music which were freestyles, collaboration and unreleased work. If you go back to 1990 Jay-Z collaborated with The Jaz it was called "The Originator". Its a completely different Jay-Z to now. But it was in 1990 so it was a different style back then in hip-hop.

So there is Jay rapping fast but there is much more. I found some of his old freestyles on youtube which I think are from the early 90's. The video has four freestyles put in to the video which has an old school vibe to it I would say. Also I have posted this before so some of you might have seen it but its Jay-Z freestyle with Big L thats' a different Jay flow I feel. You can watch view with Jay and Big L here.



Then in 1994 Jay-Z had a music video which was for his song called "I Can't Get Wit That". It was an unreleased and a rare song according to youtube. It's one of my favorite Jigga track I have ever heard. The reason why his flow and beat link in very well and makes it a good song.

This is a song which Jay-Z features in with a few other artists. It's called "Show & Prove" and its a Big Daddy Kane track from his album in 1994 "Daddy's Home". Jay-Z verse come in around 2:56 on the video. Its not the longest verse from Hov but its a fasted rap.

So when Jay-Z released his first album  Reasonable Doubt in 1996 it had a different Jay flow to the previous videos in this post. So the flow change in the making of Reasonable Doubt and the first single was "Dead Presidents". Which had a new Jay-Z a slower flow I would say it's still dope.
